Adfly is one of the URL Shortening website. The new link will then place either an interstitial ad or a framed ad banner along with your original url.  Then you get paid for the ad views.

In addition, adfly allows you to refers others to their service and get a lifetime additional 20% revenue from their clickthroughs.

Their payout threshold is $5.00.  so you can cash out to your paypal account whenever you hit the $5.00 threshold.

I have a couple of reviews on this service.
  1. Their cpm rate is $5.00, depending on the source or even an estimate of 1000clicks. That means that you need to have a lot of views to your ads. It’s probably not going to make you rich overnight, but it is a set and forget income stream.
  2. Sometimes facebook does not allow you to post adfly links on your wall or your page wall. I think this the biggest problem for the one who wants to earn by promoting adfly links on facebook. Well the good news is that you can tweet the links through Twitter, if you have a good following list then you can earn really good
  3. The market is starting to get saturated with these kinds of link embedded ad services. People may recognize the adfly shortened link and be less interested to click the link. Sometimes people are cautious of link shorteners.
Weighing all the pros and cons, I still figure it’s worth a try.

Here are some screen shots of my earnings by adfly links
